So, on June 29th, I will be in London with my 21 year old daughter.
Our reason for being there?
We are going to see ‘P!nk’ at Wembley and I’m really looking forward to it.
I found out today that Vance Joy is going to be a supporting act! Bonus!
Anyway, when we originally booked the tickets for the show, we decided to make a 3 day trip of it.
We head into London on the Friday, see the show on the Saturday and head home on the Sunday.
As we sat discussing the trip for a bit today, we both decided that we want to do things in London that we wouldn’t ordinarily do.
We’re fed up with the ‘usual’ attractions like the museums, the London Eye, river trips, bus trips.
We want something different.
So far we’ve decided that we want to try Dans Le Noir on the Friday evening.
It’s probably the only time I’ll get to try it, as ‘gourmet’ food is not something my husband is into and not being able to see or know what he’s eating does not appeal to him in the slightest.
We spent a little time looking at all the hidden little ‘speakeasy’ type bars that are hidden all over London and will probably check out a few.
However, we are really stuck for anything off the tourist track!
We want fun, music, entertainment, venues that are not worried about casual wear, off the beaten track, hidden little gems (not necessarily family friendly!!)
So if anyone reading this has any ideas, let me know!!
5 months and counting!!
