So, tomorrow is a day I’ve been waiting for since the beginning of November 2017 when I bought the tickets.
A favourite local band have been raising money through ‘Pledgemusic.com’ to be able to record their first album.
They have been selling things like tote bags, t-shirts, signed CD’s, right up to a full band house show ranging from £10 to £1700.
The good news is that they’ve recorded the album!!
I couldn’t afford, much but two tickets to their ‘secret show’ in Covent Garden wasn’t going to break the bank and it means an intimate show of only 130 pledgers!
We only found out recently that the show is at the Hospital Club in Covent Garden tomorrow evening. I’m so looking forward to it.
I was originally going to attend with my husband but unfortunately, with a pinched nerve in his neck, he’s in no condition to be stomping all over London so it has been decided that I am going with my eldest Daughter, Murron!!
Should I be worried!!!
As it turns out, yes I should. This is Murron we’re talking about!
I suppose it’s my own fault.
I wanted to do things I’ve never done before in London so Murron has basically planned the day.
We are leaving Bedford at around 10am and arriving in London St Pancras just after 11am.
We will then head down to London Bridge for a light lunch with a friend of Murron’s that works in London before we have a wander around Borough Market.
We are then going to head up to Camden where Murron is going to take me around the market and a place called Cyber Dog!! Apparantly the third floor of this place is strictly for 18+ peeps!
After Camden we are heading over to Soho to visit Crumbs and Doilies. I keep telling Murron that Cupcake Jemma probably won’t be front of house in the shop but she wants to go anyway.
After Soho we will be heading over to Covent Garden for some dinner before the show.
I just hope I’m not too knackered to enjoy it!
