So earlier this week I started a new regime.
I set my steps target to 10000 a day, which is around 7.5 kilometers.
When I’m at work this is no problem as I regularly smash that and head towards 15000.
I actually walked 10.75 kilometers at work yesterday!
It’s my days off that are lacking.
I have seriously reduced my alcohol intake (even though I currently have a nice large bottle of chilled corona on the desk)
Seriously, even my Mum noticed the lack of wine bottles in the kitchen.
I have been healthier with my food choices.
Less meat, loads more veg and salad and I’ve eaten more strawberries, kiwis and bananas in the last week than I have done in the last six months!! and I’m not snacking as much either.
I think I may have lost a couple of pounds, but I plan to take things slow, make it a lifestyle change and not stress about treating myself occasionally.
So far, so good.
Lets see how long I can keep it up.
