SIGN OF THINGS TO COME?

So this year has not got off to the best of starts.
Yesterday, poor Ian spent 7 hours sat in the hospital after a trip to the GP walk in centre in the morning.
He’s finished his 10 day course of antibiotics and still had a sore throat and aches and pains and the Dr decided that because of his medical history and the fact he’s on Methotrexate, he should have a check up and a blood test.
He ended up being sent home on another 7 days of antibiotics.

The day wasn’t a total loss. I had a lovely roast dinner at Mum’s with the kids, poor Ian.

Anyway, I am now toying with seeing a GP myself. Not because of this damned cough that is driving me insane but because of my knee which is showing no signs of getting any better. If anything it’s getting worse.
I just need it to hang on in there for the next year while I finish my placements and my Uni course but I think I had better get the ball rolling with the Doctor.
No doubt I will have to go through the usual rigmarole of Muscular skeletal and physiotherapy before I get to see an orthopaedic surgeon even though I have a history and my records state I have residual cysts and a meniscal tear in the joint!
I am still debating.

I just hope that this is not a sign of things to come this year.

Anyway, the last two days have gone all too quickly. I’m back at work on my first 12.5 hour shift of the year tomorrow and I’m doing it again on Thursday.
Then I actually have three days off!!
No Uni work to think about.
No placement to do.
No Christmas orgnisation or clear up to think about.
Just time to myself.

Hopefully this damned cough will have subsided enough to allow me a trip to the cinema.
I really want to see The Greatest Showman and I’m itching to see The Last Jedi again.

The healthy living and exercise also starts tomorrow…….SHOOT ME NOW.
