OK, I’m blogging about this for various reasons.
The first reason being, it’s important!
Everyone on the planet deserves to be treated the same way and unless it’s discussed and handled well by the media and other outlets, we’re never going to get anywhere.
The second reason is personal.
Anyone who knows me, knows that I’m a very open person and accepting of anyone regardless of race, religion or sexual preference or anything LGBTQ related.
With that said, and after a few teenage encounters at work, I realise just how little I actually know or understand about LGBTQ issues.
I have decided to enlighten myself by finding out as much as I can in the hope that I may be able to help people, directly or indirectly.
Knowledge is a powerful thing and if I can at least put a few biggots in their place by knowing my facts, then it will be worth it.
Channel 4 are showing a documentary tonight at 10pm titled ‘Kids on the Edge’.
Tonights episode tackles Gender Identity.
I think this is a perfect springboard into my education and may just prove valuable at work at some point. Even if I only help one troubled teen it will be worth it.
Now.. here’s some great news!!!

He’s such a bubbly, happy personality you can’t help but smile and laugh when you watch his Vlogs.
