DONE!

I made it!
7 x 12.5 hour shifts on my feet over 9 days!
I’m actually feeling quite good today, even though I had to get up early to take Dharma into the walk in centre.

Looks like she’s developed a spot of excema in her scalp.
I wanted it checked before our hair appointment later this morning to make sure it wasn’t anything ‘unwelcome’. I was also worried about the possibility of Psoriasis.
Her dad has it and it developed into Psoriatic arthritis which is the last thing she needs to deal with now. She has enough to worry about with her hyper mobility and IBS.

Anyway, we’re now back home and it’s only 9am.
The plan for today is to take Marjorie for her hair appointment at 10:15. She’s getting some colour done so we’re going to leave her there to get some shopping done before we go back for our appointment for cuts and blow dries.
A bit of pampering.

Then I plan on completely chilling but I’m not sure what I’m in the mood for.
Reading my Star Wars novel or getting stuck into some fan fiction is one option.
I would really like to start writing another of my own pieces but coming up with a story idea is something I’m completely crap at!!

I’ve got a story I’m working on but it tackles a pretty delicate subject for a lot of my potential readers so I’m going to take my time with it. I have some research to do to do it any justice. It may never even make it to the light of day.
So!! I am in need of another story idea to work on in the meantime but my brain is not co-operating!

I haven’t been completely ignoring the internet over the last few days. I just haven’t been very active with it.
I’ve enjoyed keeping up with Adam and his trip to South Korea with his AITAF charity.

Adam in his element!! So much more relaxed and happy with the troops than on his red carpet events. It’s quite heartbreaking that Adam lost his career in the Marines to a stupid injury, but hey! their loss is our gain as we get to see his amazing movies. AITAF probably wouldn’t exist if Adam hadn’t been forced into his career change either.

The only upside to the last 9 days is that my diet has got off to a great start!!
I’m not recording my weight and jumping on scales every 5 minutes but it looks like I’ve lost over half a stone and I appear to have my motivation to keep going back!!
One thing I need to start doing over the next 6 days is start some planned exercise to tone up some muscles. Oh the joy.

Right, my brain really isn’t working at the moment so I’ll probably blog again later.
