Well after a lovely evening spent at the cinema watching X-Men Apocalypse, I woke up this morning decidedly unwell. I won’t give details but it’s not pretty!

After making the call to work which I absolutely HATE to do, I set about kicking the kids out of bed and getting them off to school and college.
All three have gone….job done!

Ian’s not doing so great at the moment either.
He has a low immunity because of all the meds he has to take and he’s been fighting something off. Mostly a cold and sore throat which has been going through the kids too so I’m probably next for that one!
He was in loads of pain yesterday and could barely move and ended up having to go for an emergency blood test.
Thankfully he’s doing OK today, probably because he’s dosed up to the eyeballs on morphine, and has gone to work but I don’t think he’ll be making it to a full shift.

When Ian has a cold he snores!
He snores normally anyway but I can usually shut him up by poking him in the ribs and getting him to roll over.
However, when he has a sore throat he sounds like something from another planet and no amount of poking and prodding will stop it……. so I spent the night on the sofa.
To be honest it was probably the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages which is why I was so annoyed when I woke up and realised I was in for a rough day.

So, it’s a snuggle up on the sofa day today.
I’ve just started reading another piece of Kylux fanfiction that’s taken my fancy which is a small relief as waiting for updates on ‘Under the Ruins of a Walled City’ is unbearable!

I’m expecting a few parcels from Amazon today with additions to my Domhnall Gleeson collection. They are all films I’ve never seen so at least I won’t be bored today.
If they arrive early enough I can see a few movie reviews coming along a little later.

Chances are I’ll just end up asleep on the sofa!
