WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES

I was expecting this weekend to be quite tough.
I couldn’t have been more wrong.

It started with a very tough day on Friday as we said goodbye to my beautiful Grandmother.
But even then, after the service, a weight seemed to have lifted from everyone as we reminiced and had a few laughs at the Pub.

Marjorie and Dharma came to the service and I couldn’t have been more proud of them. They handled themselves very well.
Murron came to the wake at the pub and had a good catchup with her cousin Elliot with no disagreements for once.

So, I didn’t know what to expect for the rest of the weekend.
I decided to take Murron into MK for a shopping trip.
She wanted a new dress for her 18th birthday on Thursday and we couldn’t find anything in Bedford.
We found her dress within five minutes of arriving in MK!!
We had some lunch and I did some shopping of my own and spoilt myself a little.

We then drove back into Bedford to get Murron’s nose pierced but she backed out at the last minute.
They wanted to use a gun and apparantly she’d rather find somewhere that does it with a needle!
Anyway, it gave me the opportunity to get a quote on the tattoo I want and I have decided that the 19th of October is the date.
Mid life crisis will officially arrive as I get my 3D butterfly and my first tattoo on my wrist!
That gives me 2 weeks to change my mind but for now my mind is set!

We did the whole afternoon with no arguements and it was really nice spending some time with Murron for a change.

Tomorrow is going to be a chill out day.
I treated myself to the first season of Outlander so I’m looking forward to seeing it in it’s full glory for the first time.
