Oscar winning artist H.R. Giger has died at the age of 74 after injuries suffered in a fall.
This man was responsible for the design of the creature in Ridley Scott’s sci-fi horror classic ‘Alien’.
Horror films and aliens would never be the same again!
His works often showed macabre scenes of machines and humans fused together.
They make a strong impression and you either love it or hate it.
In an interview with Starlog magazine in 1979, Giger said ‘people were either creative or crazy if they liked his work’.
His work has inspired many tattoos so no doubt his work will literally live on for years to come.
