Please don’t read if you haven’t seen it yet.
That’s the only warning you’re getting.
I always knew Riddick was never going to be an Oscar winner.
However, it followed on nicely from Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick.
I would like to have seen more of Riddick’s time as Lord Marshall, if only to get more Karl Urban in the film.
The 5 minutes we did get were very brooding but didn’t quite hit the mark.
It was a shame that Karl couldn’t do the mullet again considering the events took place not long after Chronicles.
I loved the mullet look from Chronicles.
Chronicles on the left and Riddick on the right.
Anyway, lots of special effects….. some quite grisly, lots of monsters and the usual ‘never gonna kill him’ Vin Diesel as Riddick.
Sets his own broken leg, gets poisoned and stabbed….. several times… but still he keeps going.
The good news?
One of the last questions asked in the film…
is Vaako alive or dead?
The answer… and you will only get it if you’ve seen Chronicles….. he’s both!!!
So if there’s a 4th then Karl could quite possibly be in it.
